I weave in the Japanese Saori tradition, using plant and animal fibers of varying textures. I often pair rugged plant fibers with  silks and wools to get distinctive contrasts in textures.  Additionally, I dye my own materials using non-toxic dyes in order to control the process and limit the waste.
